Chill Out Zone
Boat Quay & Clarke Quay
This historic, eye-catching riverside enclave, situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River and Boat Quay, once held warehouses where goods from barge lighters were stored in the colonial era. Today, these warehouses are home to various clubs and bars that locals and visitors flock to for their popular waterfront drinking and live music performances.
Bras Basah & Bugis
A vibrant arts enclave home to museums and monuments, the Bras Basah. Bugis precinct is also well-loved for the various entertainment hub of bars and clubs that get especially lively at night. The area is especially popular for its live music venues that hosts performances by popular local artists and up-and-coming musicians for visitors to enjoy while savouring delectable bar bites and drinks.
Dempsey Hill & Holland Village
Once home to an 1850s-era nutmeg plantation called Mount Harriet and then the Tanglin Barracks in the late 1800s, Dempsey Hill was redeveloped in 2007 into a one-stop dining, entertainment and shopping enclave. Come sunset, a mix of wine bars and eateries offer visitors a relaxed night out amid tranquil natural surroundings.
