7 scenic running routes
in Singapore
The best way to see Singapore is on foot.
CHANGI BEACH PARK
This 3.3km coastal park connects to Changi Coast Road, where you can see aeroplanes take off and land (it’s parallel to the runway). If you're up for more, you can head down to East Coast Park before calling it a day.
Address: Nicoll Dr., S(498991), MRT: Changi Airport

MARINA BAY WATERFRONT
Approximately 3.5km, this route is especially scenic with landmarks like the Helix Bridge, Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion along the way. If you’re looking for extra mileage, you can even run around the nearby Kallang Riverside Park.
Address: 10 Bayfront Ave., S(018956). MRT: Bayfront

FORT CANNING PARK
Popular with locals, expats, tourists and concert-goers alike, this park needs no introduction. The many steps leading up to the hilltop reserve at Clemenceau Avenue are great for a warm-up. And for those who prefer a more challenging run, it’s also where you can find steep slopes and uneven paths, all set along a trail of heritage trees.
Address: River Valley Rd., S(179037), MRT: Dhoby Ghaut

MACRITCHIE RESERVOIR PARK
MacRitchie offers nearly 11km of terrain with flexible running routes. You can start off on the boardwalk or head straight for the dirt tracks. Looking for a full workout? Try the 10.6km loop around the reservoir—the undulating trail is both tricky and challenging.
Address: Along Lornie Rd., MRT: Marymount

THE SOUTHERN RIDGES
The 9km-long Southern Ridges trail covers Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Park. Expect great views across to Sentosa and steep, challenging slopes that put your calves and quads to work.
Address: Henderson Rd., S(159557), MRT: HarbourFront

KEPPEL BAY
Check out luxury yachts docked along this posh waterfront precinct. Starting from Labrador Park Reserve, this leisurely route brings you on a trail along the bay, over the Keppel Bay Bridge and to Keppel Island on a track that measures about 3km.
Address: Labrador Villa Rd., S(119187), MRT: Labrador Park

EAST COAST PARK
Popular with seasoned marathon runners, this 15km beachside track is almost always featured in marathon events here and for good reason: you get to feast your eyes on gorgeous beach scenery, with the sea breeze in your hair.
